Homesteader Gather. Craft. Grow.

Homesteader is a cozy island-building adventure for the Game Boy Advance, inspired by Forager. You start with a pickaxe on one small patch of grass. Chop, mine and forage to build up your homestead, then buy new islands and explore everything the world has to offer.

Build your homestead

• Gather wood, stone, ore, berries and more, then turn them into bricks, bars, glass and tools.
• Build furnaces, forges, markets, kitchens, a bank, a museum and a home of your own.
• Farm wheat, carrots, pumpkins and starfruit, and set up sprinklers and harvest totems to help.
• Raise chickens and cows for eggs and milk.
• Decorate inside and out with furniture, paths, fences, benches, fountains and more. Sit on a bench, or lie back on a picnic blanket.

Explore a world of islands

• Buy land and expand across 25 islands in six biomes: meadow, dunes, deep dunes, winter, volcano and graveyard.
• Solve a puzzle island in each biome to earn a unique relic.
• Dig for buried loot with a shovel, and follow treasure maps to big hauls.
• Discover hidden caves, go fishing in every biome, and meet visitors who need a hand.

Fight your way through

• Battle slimes, ghosts, bats and skeletons with swords, a bow and bombs.
• Clear four dungeons full of puzzles, keys and bosses.
• Face the final challenge waiting behind the sealed gate.

Grow stronger

• Level up and unlock 32 skills.
• Chase 31 feats, each with bronze, silver and gold tiers.
• Collect outfits and dye colors to make your farmer your own.

How to play

Homesteader is a .gba ROM. Play it in any Game Boy Advance emulator, such as mGBA or Delta, or on real hardware with a flash cart. The game has three save slots. It detects whether your cart uses SRAM or flash saves and works with either, and it also autosaves as you play.
